I'm sorry!"

Se ano passado a greve dos roteiristas deixou todo mundo a ver navios, este ano o Globo de Ouro trouxe de volta toda aquela bichice de tapete vermelho, beijinhos ao vento, discursos clichês, piadinhas sem graça de apresentadores mal vestidos... E tudo aconteceu da maneira mais boring possível. Falta particular de estímulo para o repetitivo mundo cinematográfico atual ou profundo desdém por essa onda irritante que insiste em pintar o onipresente "Slumdog Millionaire" como a melhor coisa do mundo da última semana (veja bem, eu não assisti o filme, sequer conferi o trailer, mas sigo nutrindo essa antipatia gratuita pela produção, assim como fiz com "Crash" há uns ano), a verdade é que tudo foi muito nos conformes, seguro, repetitivo e exatamente por isso, chatinho. A antiga regrinha de premiação fragmentada onde não há um grande filme vencedor, mas vários filmes dominando os vários troféus principais, foi para o espaço e o que restou foi uma irritante sensação de deja vu na maioria das categorias. Mas verdade seja dita, nem só de agruras se fez a noite! Depois da originalidade de algumas indicações pra lá de bacanudas (Olá, Brendan Gleeson!), foi a hora e a vez de agradáveis surpresas como a vitória da querida Anna Paquin por seu talento indiscutível em "True Blood" e a virada do Colin Farrel e seu "In Bruges". Outras vitórias apesar de não terem sido surpresas, foram igualmente festejadas. Heath Ledger se fez presente e "WALL·E" se firmou como a Melhor Animação que é, ainda que muito mal apresentada. E mesmo sem Woody "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" foi a Melhor Comédia. Pena que Michael C. Hall, Rachel Griffiths e Christina Applegate seguiram injustiçados. Em suma, vinte e cinco categorias, vinte e duas apostas, doze acertos e um surpreendente combo Kate Winslet. Tem como não gostar? :)
